Welcome to Wemigo, available at [wemigo.com] (the “Website”) and the Wemigo app (the “App”). These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of Wemigo, including participation in meetups, events, and other experiences offered through our platform (collectively, the “Services”).

By using Wemigo, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Website, App, or Services. Wemigo may update these Terms from time to time, and continued use of the platform means you accept the latest version.

1. What is Wemigo?

Wemigo is a platform designed to help people build real friendships through small group meetups and unique events. Unlike traditional social platforms, we focus on quality over quantity—meaningful, consistent connections, not endless scrolling or swiping.

By signing up, members can:
-Join weekly small group meetups, carefully curated based on preferences and feedback.
-Access exclusive events designed to deepen connections and expand their social circles.
-Be part of a community that values real friendships—not networking, not dating, just genuine human connection.

Wemigo is currently available in Barcelona, with plans to expand soon!

2. Membership & Access to Wemigo

To access Wemigo, you must:
✔️ Be at least 18 years old.
✔️ Provide accurate and complete information during sign-up.
✔️ Use Wemigo only for its intended purpose—building friendships, not for dating, selling, or promotions.

Free Trial & Subscription

New users start with a free trial, after which a paid membership is required to continue participating in meetups & events.
Subscription details, pricing, and billing cycles are available in your account settings.
You may cancel at any time before your trial ends to avoid charges.

Event Access for Non-Members

Some events may be open to non-members with a Wemigo trial.
Attendees must create an account & sign up for a Wemigo subscription with a free trial to register and join events.
If you attend an event on a free trial, you can cancel anytime before the trial ends if you decide Wemigo is not for you.

3. Community Guidelines

To keep Wemigo a safe and welcoming space, all members agree to follow these simple but important guidelines:

Not a Dating App

Wemigo is for friendships, not romantic connections. Anyone using the platform solely for dating or flirting will be removed.

Respect Others

Be kind, open, and inclusive.
Respect different backgrounds, perspectives, and personalities.
Harassment, discrimination, or inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated.

Show Up or Let Us Know

If you RSVP for a meetup or event, do your best to attend.
If you can’t make it, let your group know in advance so others can plan accordingly.

No Self-Promo or Spam

No selling, recruiting, or unsolicited promotions—this is about friendships, not business.
If you have an event, project, or idea that might benefit the community, reach out to an admin first.

Reporting Issues

If you ever feel uncomfortable or experience behavior that violates these guidelines, report it to a Wemigo admin immediately.

Failure to follow these guidelines may result in temporary or permanent removal from Wemigo.

4. Event Participation & Media Consent

By attending a Wemigo event or meetup, you acknowledge that:

Photos & Videos May Be Taken

Wemigo may capture content at events for promotional use (social media, website, marketing).
If you do not wish to be included, let an admin know before the event, and we will respect your preference.
Otherwise, by attending, you grant permission for your image to be used.

You Are Responsible for Your Own Safety

Wemigo only facilitates connections and meetups—we do not vet members beyond basic account verification.
Use good judgment when interacting with others, both online and in-person.
Wemigo is not liable for any incidents that occur during meetups or events.

5. Membership Payments & Cancellations

Billing & Renewals

Memberships are billed automatically based on the selected plan.
You can view your next charge date and billing details in your account settings.

Cancellations & Refunds

You may cancel anytime before your next billing cycle to avoid charges.
Refunds are not available for unused time in a billing period.
If your payment fails, your account may be paused or terminated.

6. Termination & Account Removal

Wemigo reserves the right to suspend or remove any user who violates our guidelines, terms, or engages in harmful behavior.

Reasons for removal include (but are not limited to):
-Repeated no-shows or unreliability.
-Harassment, discrimination, or disruptive behavior.
-Using Wemigo for selling or self-promotion.
-Failing to comply with group guidelines or community expectations.

If your account is removed, you may not be eligible for a refund.

7. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

Wemigo does not guarantee that all group matches will be perfect—but we refine them based on feedback and experience.
Wemigo is not responsible for the actions of its members during meetups, events, or outside interactions.
All activities are voluntary—participate at your own risk.
Wemigo may modify, pause, or discontinue services at any time without prior notice.
